Nostalgic Childhood Days

How I wish I still have that kind of innocence in me. The biggest fear I had back then might be afraid of getting scolded by a teacher because I did not finish my homeworks (which I need not to fear, consider that I always had them done before the collection time), no crap about having to cope with the so-called route to maturity and adulthood.

Anyway, I just added my mom on FaceBook. Quite a weird thing, but that is how crazy social networking site has became. Your relationship with your parents are actually described as “friends”, duh. The next thing I know, perhaps you might invite and challenge them on Word Challenge. Okay, so my parents tagged in this photo album which had some pictures of my (and my sisters’) childhood days. So I am in a bit of nostalgic mood tonight, although I might be lacking in precision what really happened back then. Anyway, I take some of the pictures and put it here.

Whoa! Why was I so fat in the early pictures? I guess I was really such a meat lover back then. At least living independently has forced me to eat vegetables. Perhaps I am still fat now? I do not know, haha. It would take a few more years before I would look at my current pictures and judge if I am indeed fat now.

Quite a variety of pictures up there. Some of them taken at Medan, Berastagi, Jakarta, and Thailand. Perhaps one or some of them are taken in Malaysia, but I am not too sure because I was too young back then. That waterfall picture of my sister dancing ballet, though, is intriguing. I have almost forgotten that my home’s living room used to have that wallpaper. Imagine if we still have that today, how soothing!

And the last picture reveals how much I liked horse back then. I was such a fan back then, which is understandable because I was born in the horse year, haha. Horses are always nice. They let you sit on their back, carry you around, yet tame enough so not to scare the little kid that I was.
